Muscat: Diam, formerly known as the General Authority for Electricity and Water, has revealed that it is conducting emergency maintenance work in the Al Dakhiliyah governorate, which may affect water supply for the next 24 hours.
"For the purpose of sustainable water supply, on Monday, 4 June 2018, emergency maintenance work will be carried out to improve the efficiency of one of the valves in the water network of Dakhiliyah Governorate to increase the pumping of water from the main pumping station to the governorate.
"Water supply is expected to be partially affected in the governorate within the next 24 hours," Daim said in its announcement.
