Muscat: There are chances of cloud formation and rainfall accompanied by thunder over the coastal areas of Al Wusta and Dhofar. These weather conditions will start tomorrow and could go on until Wednesday morning, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) announced.
The rest of the Sultanate will however experience mainly clear skies. In its report, PACA said, "Weather forecast for the Sultanate predicts that the country will experience mainly clear skies today, with chances of clouds advection and isolated rain over the coastal areas of Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates."
Temperatures are getting higher in the Sultanate and the highest temperature forecast for today is 46 degrees Celsius in the Wilayats of Haima and Nizwa, followed by Ibri at 45 degrees Celsius and Rustaq and Sur both at 44 degrees Celsius. Muscat will reach 38 degrees Celsius and Salalah at 31 degrees Celsius. Saiq will register the lowest temperature at 30 degrees Celsius.
