Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has completed the procedures for hiring a new group of male and female citizens who hold a general education diploma after they passed all stages of evaluation, including electronic, written and sports tests and personal interviews.
This is a continuation of the procedures of the Royal Oman Police in employing Omani youth in coordination with the Ministry of Labour in accordance with the plan approved by the General Police Command to supply various formations with manpower in line with the expansion witnessed by the Royal Oman Police in all fields.
The new batch of new police headed to the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences to receive training in specialised institutes to provide them with police, legal and academic sciences, in addition to receiving specialised courses in self-defence, swimming, shooting, medical first aid and other courses that qualify them to carry out the various duties and tasks of the Royal Oman Police.
The recruits expressed their willingness to pass the training stage and join their fellow police officers in all fields of work.
Citizen Mohammed bin Salem Al Shehhi said:" I am overwhelmed with a feeling of joy after being accepted into the Royal Oman Police, and I look forward to starting work and giving everything I have."
A citizen named Saif bin Najeeb Al Hadrami, said: " I am grateful for the opportunity given to me to develop myself, and I will be keen to commit to achieving the highest levels of performance and dedication to work."
Citizen Tamader bint Said Al Afari said: "My acceptance to work in the Royal Oman Police is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the service of the country and its citizens."
