Muscat: The highest temperature recorded was in the Wilayat of Ibri (red shields) was 47.5ºC. The Directorate General of Meteorology indicated that a noticeable rise in temperatures, ranging from the middle to the end of the forties, was observed in the desert and mountainous areas and parts of the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman.
The aerial photos show the continuation of autumn cloud activity and intermittent drizzle falling on the coasts and mountains of Dhofar Governorate, intensification of low clouds and fog on parts of the coasts of the Al Sharqiyah South and Al Wusta governorates, with high clouds flowing sporadically over the skies of the Sultanate of Oman.
