Improvement of services to people with disabilities on anvil

Muscat: Activities of the Professional Development Programme aimed at ameliorating services rendered to people with disabilities kicked off on Monday.

The programme was organised by Al Aman Rehabilitation Centre, a subsidiary of the Directorate General for People with Disabilities Affairs, Ministry of Social Development.

The programme seeks to hone the skills of operators in the field of rehabilitation of people with disabilities and update them on developments in high quality standards of social service.

As many as 125 rehabilitation personnel from different establishments are taking part in the programme, which runs till the end of August 2023.
