Muscat Municipality & Outward Bound Oman bond in a training campaign

Muscat: As part of its plan to boost the competencies of its staff, Muscat Municipality, in cooperation with Outward Bound Oman Foundation (Tahadi Oman), implements an outdoor training programme for a group of Muscat Municipality employees led by trainers from the Outward Bound Oman Foundation. The course aims to hone the skills of staff in challenge, resilience and adaptation to different conditions.

      The programme will be held for (3) consecutive days attempting to develop skills through learning techniques of flexible thinking, creativity and innovation, strategic thinking, using methodologies of effective communication with others.

     The trainees have received specialized training workshops in leadership, communication, team building, decision-making based on the method of dialogue, discussion and exchange of views, and also included drawing external paths and experiments in the field reality, team sports and training in a different atmosphere from the work environment using elements of the Omani environment such as mountains and highlands; in order to reach personal/career convictions based on experience and discussion conducted after those experiences.
