Governors’ forum begins in Dhofar Governorate

Salalah: Sessions of the Governors’ Forum, organized by the Office of the Governor of Dhofar, began here on Wednesday under the slogan “Cooperation and Progress”.

The two-day forum figures among activities of Khareef Dhofar (monsoon) Season 2023. The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Marwan Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar.

The forum’s programme includes a dialogue session to discuss mechanisms for enhancing investment, revenues and economic diversification in Oman’s governorates.

The programme also covers visits to some tourism landmarks, recreational sites and heritage monuments in Dhofar Governorate.
