Datamount signs agreement to provide hosting and cloud services at its Datacenter in Al Jabal Al Akhdar

Datamount, the leading provider of hosting services and Datacenters in the Sultanate, has signed a strategic agreement with Axeron Capital Holding, the leading global provider in the cryptocurrency sector, and Afaaq Advanced Technology. This agreement aims for Datamount to provide hosting and cloud services at its Datacenter in Al Jabal Al Akhdar.

Under this agreement, Datamount will provide hosting and cloud services in the first phase of its new Tier III Uptime certified Datacenter, which is in the Al Jabal Al Akhdar, which is distinguished by its distinctive geographical nature and low temperatures throughout the year, which will contribute to saving the electricity consumption. The signing of this agreement comes within the framework of the keenness of Datamount, the company owned by a few government pension funds and other investors, to localize the Datacenter industry and create an attractive environment for investments in this sector, especially with the acceleration of the pace of digital transformation in the Sultanate and the efforts being made to provide digital services.

The signing of the agreement with Axeron and Afaq Advanced Technologies will enhance their capabilities to implement their future expansion plans and take advantage of the exceptional opportunities offered by the Sultanate in this field.

Al Jabal Al Akhdar Datacenter is the second Datacenter for Datamount after the Muscat Datacenter.
