20 kilos of spoiled food found in Oman food stores

Muscat: Municipal authorities in Oman destroyed 20 kilograms of spoiled foodstuff and closed down six shops during inspection campaign, it was announced on Sunday.

Barka Municipality carried out an extensive inspection campaign for food facilities and stores in the wilayat. "During the campaign, six facilities were closed, 6 health violations were carried out and 20 kg of spoiled foodstuffs were destroyed," the agency said in a statement online.
