Bank Muscat receives Best Bank Award 2023 from Euromoney

Muscat: In recognition of its outstanding contributions to the banking sector, Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, has been awarded the Best Bank in Oman award by Euromoney. Mohammed Sultan al Habsi, Chief Representative, UAE Representative Office, Bank Muscat, received the award on behalf of the bank. Euromeney’s decision was based on a number of different criteria including the product mix, financial performance, asset and revenue quality, customer satisfaction, and digital offerings. It also included growth in assets, profitability, geographic reach, strategic relationships, new business development and innovation in products. The selection results came after extensive consultations with corporate financial executives and bankers, banking consultants and analysts across the world.

The recognition further solidifies Bank Muscat’s position as a leader in the banking sector in Oman and adds to the Bank’s long-standing success. Bank Muscat announced recently its preliminary unaudited results for the six months ended 30 June 2023. The Bank posted a net profit of RO 104.32 million for the period compared to RO 99.26 million reported during the same period in 2022, an increase of 5.1 per cent.
