Muscat: The 'Light Park' event hosted in Salalah Public Park is one of the recreational destinations organised by the Dhofar Municipality as part of the Dhofar Khareef season this year. It will remain open until the end of August.
Ahmed bin Awad Al Rawas from the Department of Events and Awareness in Dhofar Municipality said: "The illuminated garden includes models and shapes of animals and plants in artistic design using three-dimensional techniques, while decorating them with lights to contribute to creating a wonderful atmosphere in the place."
Al Rawas added that the illuminated garden is characterised by fine details that reflect the beauty of animals and plants, and gives the place a wonderful and distinctive atmosphere through the use of sound effects and simulating animal sounds to give more realism to the scene.
This year's Khareef tourism season has witnessed the influx of many visitors and tourists from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman, arriving to enjoy the pleasant weather and stunning landscapes throughout Dhofar Governorate.
Dhofar 2023 activities are distributed in different locations, including: Salalah Gardens, Awqad, and Al Saada, in addition to the activities of 'return of the past' in the Hafah area and Atin Square in the Atin Plain. The events will continue until the 31st of August.
