Turkish Airlines flight makes emergency landing as passenger commits suicide

Türkiye: In a tragic incident, a passenger committed suicide during a Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul to Marrakesh, Morocco. As a result, the flight had to make an emergency landing in Algeria, said media reports. The incident occurred on Tuesday July 25, 2023.

According to the media, the passenger committed suicide on a Boeing 737-Max 8 flight. The Turkish Airlines flight was bound from Istanbul to Morocco. The crew discovered the distressing scene upon opening the restroom. Despite immediate medical efforts, the passenger could not be saved.
