School students were airlifted to their homes after heavy rains lashed the country and blocked some roads.

This was revealed by the Royal Oman Police on Wednesday.

“Police Aviation carried out flights to transport a group of students from Wilayat Sur in South Sharqiyah to their residential areas due to the disruption of traffic through the roads due to the climatic conditions experienced by the Wilayat during the past two days.” – Royal Oman Police

Officials added that they were transported to their residential area after completing the final tests on Wednesday.
