One arrested for fraud in Oman

Muscat: A person has been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP), for fraud and promoting counterfeit currency in Muscat Governorate.

ROP stated that Muscat Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the General Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation, arrested an expatriate of Arab nationality on charges of fraud and promoting counterfeit currency through dealings with the owners of shops selling jewelry and valuables."

"The legal procedures are being completed against them," ROP added.
