Muscat: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan left here on Tuesday heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to lead the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation during the 18th consultative meeting of leaders of GCC countries, as well as the GCC-Central Asia Summit.
The meeting and the summit will be held in Jeddah on Wednesday.
HH Sayyid Asa’ad and his accompanying delegation were seen off upon their departure by Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information, Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, the Secretary General at HH Sayyid Asa’ad’s office and the Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia.
HH Sayyid Asa’ad is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Eng. Said Hamoud Al Ma’awali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, HH Sayyid Faisal Turki Al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the two advisors at HH Sayyid Asa’ad’s office.
