Located in Al Ghubra ‘The Famous Kathi Rolls’ offers different flavours of Indian street food. From the famous kathi rolls and the Mughlai paranthas to momos and Bengali Mach (fish), the long list of menu will surely woo you.
We started with a welcome drink Pineapple Blossom, a milk based drink with pineapple followed by Chingdi Chop (prawns and chicken).

The croquette was crispy and made with a well balanced mouth watering filling, that you couldn’t stop at one. It was served with spicy green chutney.

Momos came next. The Schezwan tossed chicken momos steamed and fried were served with a spicy dipping sauce. This bite-sized stuffed dumpling preparation is one of the most popular dishes from Nepal and is now a favourite snack in Kolkata.

To tone down our taste buds we were served Chowmein, an Indian take on the Chinese noodles. It was stir fried noodles with Indian spices and vegetables. This was served with Indian Desi Chicken Chilli which is made in a spicy and sweet chilli sauce. Fully satiated with the starters we had little room for the main course but we could not say no to Mutton Rogan Josh. The aromatic gravy laden with spices was a real treat.
Chicken Rezala, a popular authentic dish from West Bengal, is chunks of chicken served in a rich white based gravy.
We thoroughly enjoyed the dish that was served with lacha paranthas. Absolutely aromatic, tasty, and moist.
We had Mishti Doi, sweet yoghurt for our dessert which was delectable. The chefs who are working in this restaurant have been brought in from different parts of India. A must visit place for this weekend.
