Book exhibition for children and young adults opens in South Al Batinah

Muscat: As part of the activities of the Musannah Summer Forum, an exhibition of children and young adults' books was opened in the Wilayat of Musannah, South Al Batinah Governorate to encourage children to read different books to provide them with information, ideas, behaviors and values.

The opening of the exhibition, which was organised by the Committee of Writers in South Al Batinah, was sponsored by Eng. Hilal bin Said Al Shuaili, Deputy Wali of Musannah.

The exhibition included a display of children's books for a number of libraries concerned with children's and young adult literature. It also included the implementation of two events accompanying the exhibition: "Let's Tell" presented by the storyteller Rashid Al Ghafri, and "Guide me with a story" presented by the writer Maymouna Al Balushi.
