Fire at factory in Al Dakhiliyah extinguished

Muscat: Firefighting teams managed to extinguish a fire that broke out in a factory with highly flammable petroleum materials in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

According to the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA), the accident was assigned to the Hazardous Materials Incident team and a number of firefighting agencies from Muscat‫ ‬⁩governorate, as the fire was massive due to its outbreak among highly flammable petroleum materials.

CDAA said in an update that at this time, firefighting teams were able to control the fire without recording any injuries, and that a "cooling operation" is underway.
