Oman Equestrian Federation to organise events in Dhofar

Muscat: Oman Equestrian Federation announced the holding of Dhofar Khareef events for the year 2023 from July 28 to August 1, in cooperation with the Office of the Governor  of Dhofar, Dhofar Municipality and Dhofar Equestrian Committee.

The holding of these events comes within the efforts of Omani Equestrian Federation to take advantage of the climate of Dhofar Governorate during the monsoon season and its suitability to host such events and activities related.

This year, the equestrian activities include a number of championships and competitions, which are ponies race, endurance race for 100 km, qualifying race and tent pegging championship including the national team camp for tent pegging during from August 2 to August 15, in preparation for its participation in the tent pegging World Cup in South Africa.
