Muscat: Oman can now boast of its own new generation ‘plug on’ consumer electrical distribution board aptly branded ‘Al Salamah’ – implying ‘safety’.
The DBs launched by Talent Electric Services LLC (TES), a leading manufacturer and supplier of low and medium-voltage panels in Oman in collaboration with Schneider Electric are expected to create a major impact in the Oman market with its high-quality electro-safety features at affordable prices thereby setting a new benchmark in a dynamically evolving power segment in Oman.
The DBs are manufactured locally in TES’s state-of-the-art factory in Samail Industrial City with the assembly components designed and developed in-house exclusively for Schneider’s specially designed ‘plug-on’ breakers. The DBs will be made available through authorised stockists that make up Talent’s extensive distribution network across Oman.
The ‘plug on’ model is an impactful, user-friendly improvisation from the traditional ‘bolt on’ model and is designed for easier operational convenience without compromising on safety features. The DBs are available in flush and surface mounting types ranging from 4 ways to 16 ways for single and three-phase specifications. Al Salamah has been receiving enthusiastic responses and acceptance, both at the trade and consumer level and is expected to set the trend in the electrical market, especially for the infrastructure projects in Oman in the days ahead.
