Muscat: The military pilgrimage mission returned to Oman on Saturday after performing Hajj in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Upon its arrival at Seeb Air Base, the mission was received by Major General Hamed bin Ahmed Sakroun, Head of the Academy of Strategic and Defense Studies, and Brigadier General Hassan bin Ali Al Mujaini, Head of Moral Guidance and Military Ceremonies headed by the Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces, and a number of senior officers of the Sultan's Armed Forces and other military and security authorities.
Major General Staff President of the Academy of Strategic and Defense Studies congratulated the members of the military Hajj mission upon their return to the country to perform the blessed Hajj, and praised the efforts made by the commander and administrators of the mission in order for the members of the military mission to perform the rituals of Hajj and provide all means that help them to perform the rituals.
The organization of the conduct of the annual military pilgrimage mission is supervised by the moral guidance and military ceremonies headed by the Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces.
