Muscat: Thundershowers accompanied by downward winds and hail are likely over a number of governorates of the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 till 9 pm, said Oman Meteorology.
Omani Meteorologist said in a statement: “The affected areas that may witness thundershowers are the governorates of Al Dakhiliyah, Al Dhahira, North Al Sharqiyah, North Al Batinah, South Al Sharqiyah and Al Buraimi.”
Oman Meteorology added that thundershowers may range between 10-50 mm and cause poor horizontal visibility, along with downdraft winds of 15-35 knots, and chances of valleys overflowing and hail.
