Muscat: The city of Sultan Haitham targets the deserving who are within the system of granting of government residential lands, allowing the way for foreign ownership, His Excellency Minister of Housing and Urban Planning said.
His Excellency Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, said during the media dialogue of the Ministry, which reviews the housing system in the Sultanate of Oman, that Sultan Haitham City targets the eligible who are within the system of granting government residential lands, allowing foreign ownership, and aims to allocate 5 percent of the residential units in the city for the housing assistance program, in order to consolidate the theme of "a city for all".
His Excellency indicates that there are nine real estate development sites within the Neighborhoods Program and the Integrated Residential Schemes, three of which are under implementation, namely: Al-Naseem neighborhood in Barka, Al-Lubban neighborhood in Halban, Al-Ahed neighborhood in Al-Amerat, and three other sites under construction, in addition to three others available for investment.
This came during the media dialogue of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, which reviews the housing system in the Sultanate of Oman, and the provision of various choices through the housing options program, the neighborhoods program, integrated residential plans and future city projects, in addition to reviewing the most prominent features that will be included in Sultan Haitham City.
