Muscat: The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Administrative Affairs, held on Wednesday morning a meeting with the counterparts of the Individual Performance System Management Office.
The meeting is a two-days one targeting fifty employees of the Ministry’s General Diwan and the Directorates-General of Education in the governorate.
The meeting is taking place at the Royal Tulip Hotel in Bausher.
The meeting is headed by Dr. Salwa Al-Qassabi, Director of the Individual Performance System Management Office, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hadrami, Head of the Awareness and Performance Data Department, and Dr. Fatima Al-Hammadi, Head of the Individual Plans Department. The programme of the meeting includes the presentation of three papers.
The first paper is entitled “Job Rotation Initiative among the Units of the State’s Administrative Apparatus” and dealt with the justifications for implementing the initiative, the concept of job rotation, its objectives and benefits, SWOT analysis of the initiative, its application controls, legal tools, stages and implementation paths, and its platform.
The second paper is titled “Improving Main Objectives and Results”, and discussed the sources for preparing the individual plan, classifications of goals, determinants of formulating smart goals and key results, criteria for determining the indicators of key results, models for goals and key results, and aspects of verification when entering individual plans.
The third paper is titled “Annual Evaluation of Staff Performance for the Year 2022” and touched on the stages of applying the system, the mechanism of work on the annual evaluation, the inputs of the electronic system (Ejada), the evaluation of the employees of the Ministry for the year 2022, the nomination path for the rank of excellence (head of department - department director – director-general) and the annual evaluation of the directorates / administrative divisions.
