Expat arrested on fraud, witchcraft charges in Oman

Muscat: An African con man has been arrested in Oman after he told people they were cursed and that he could save them, according to the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
The man was arrested in a market in Seeb, when he was “trying to persuade” people to let him “treat them”.
According to ROP, “An African national was arrested on charges of fraud and witchcraft after he was spotted in front of a medical herb shop in a market in Seeb, where he was telling victims that they were cursed and that he could treat them."
