Charity exhibition to support children with disabilities inaugurated in Muscat

Muscat: The Association for Children with Disabilities has inaugurated the Ninth Charity Exhibition, which will continue until June 3, 2023, at the Fraser Suites, Muscat to support 400 children with disabilities. 

Her Excellency Dr. Mona bint Salim Al-Jardani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation for Vocational Training, and sponsor of the opening, indicated that the exhibition came in solidarity with children with disabilities, and in support of them and small and medium enterprises.

 The association serves nearly 400 children distributed in its rehabilitation centers in Azaiba, Seeb, Barka, Musannah , Saham, Yanqul, Dhank, and Jalan Bani Bu Hasan.

Khadija bint Nasser Al-Saati , Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Children with Disabilities Association, said that this exhibition comes to serve and support the Association for Children with Disabilities, and to diversify the sources of financial income for the association, which contributes to improving the level of programs, rehabilitation, training and treatment services for children affiliated with its rehabilitation centres.

Al-Saati indicated that the number of participants in the exhibition amounted to more than 150 participants. These exhibitions represent a station for a large number of Omani projects, and play a positive role in providing an opportunity for all members of society to participate and support the efforts of Omani entrepreneurs, introduce their products, and support the programs of the association.

"The exhibition includes a variety of products in clothing, accessories, perfumes, incense and other Eid al-Adha necessities," Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Children with Disabilities Association, said. 

Al-Saati explained that children with disabilities have the right to be taken care of, to show their abilities and talents to access services that enhance their integration in the society.
