Royal Oman Police issues regulation change for renewing driver's licence

Muscat: Motorists in Oman no longer need to provide a photo when renewing their driver's licence, according to the Royal Oman Police.
In an effort to simplify the services provided to residents in the Sultnate, the Royal Oman Police has "recently updated the system of recalling personal photos from the General Directorate of Civil Status."
ROP added, "There is no longer a need to attach a personal photo in transactions such as renewal or the replacement of a lost licence. White background images must be provided when filling in a new driver's license form or replacing a foreign licence."
