Muscat: Over 250 medical specialists, doctors and nurses from around the world have gathered in Oman for the 2018 Muscat Ophthalmology Conference.
The two-day event will focus on several key areas of ophthalmology including the cornea, cataract, and retina. Key workshops, sessions and courses will also be held by guest speakers world-class guest speakers from the GCC and European Union.
Opened by H.H. Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, the conference was organised by the Armed Forces Hospital in Collaboration with the Oman Ophthalmic Society (OOS) and the Ministry of Health (MOH).
An exhibition is being held alongside the conference, showcasing the latest equipment for ophthalmologist and other medical practitioners.
