Muscat: British School Muscat (BSM) was delighted to welcome representatives from the Association of Early Intervention for Children, Dar Al Atta’a, Oman Cancer Association, Days for Girls and SQU Child Health to their end-of-term assembly on Thursday, March 29.
BSM was honoured to present cheques and donations totalling nearly OMR13,000 raised by BSM’s students and community. The money has been raised from a wide range of events over the past year, including the BSM 24-Hour Run, Pink Day and the International Community Fair. The charities receiving donations were all chosen by the BSM students.
Kai Vacher, school principal, said, “I am proud that BSM students have been so kind, generous and confident in organising a range of activities over the recent months to raise nearly OMR13,000 towards charities and good causes in Oman.”
