New premises of Syrian embassy opens in Muscat

Muscat: The new premises of the Syrian Embassy was opened at the Diplomatic District in Qurm, on Wednesday, under the auspices of Walid Al Moualem, Syria’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the presence of Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs. Alawi stated that the celebration of the inauguration of the new premises of the Syrian Embassy in Muscat is a new addition to the diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Walid Al Muallim, Deputy prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said for His Majesty’s directives on establishment of the new premises which further cement the relations between the two brotherly countries. The opening ceremony was attended by a number of officials at the Foreign Ministry.
