Rain lashes several parts of Oman

Muscat: Heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder were reported on a number of governorates of the Sultanate, Public Authority of Civil Aviation PACA announced.

In its latest weather update, PACA stated: "Cumulus clouds flow on Al Hajar mountains and parts of South Al Sharqiyah and Dhofar governorates with heavy rainfall associated with thundershower sometimes accompanied by active winds and fall of hails."

"Weather Radar record heavey rains and thunder on parts of Dhofar Governorate," PACA added.
