Truck collision accident in Dhofar Governorate

Muscat: A truck transporting petroleum products has collided with a fixed object in Dhofar Governorate. Rescue teams managed the accident without recording any injuries, said the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

The Civil Defence and Ambulance Department said in a statement: “The rescue teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Dhofar Governorate dealt with a report of a truck transporting petroleum materials colliding with a fixed object. The accident resulted in a diesel spill, and the cargo was transferred to another truck.”

CDAA confirmed that the leaked substance has been contained.
