Oman to mark World Intellectual Property Day on Wednesday

The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, in cooperation with the Omani Association for Intellectual Property, will mark the World Intellectual Property Day on Wednesday 17 May 2023.The celebration ceremony will be held under the patronage of Dr. Laila Ahmed Al Najjar, Minister of Social Development.The ceremony will include a visual presentation on the Sultanate of Oman’s national strategy for innovation, a working paper on community awareness and the importance of intellectual property. During the event, winners of the Women's Intellectual Property Competition will be announced.
