Oman welcomes signing of declaration between Sudanese representatives

Muscat: ‎The Sultanate of ⁧‫Oman‬⁩ expresses its welcome to the signing of the Declaration of Humanitarian Principles between representatives of the Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces of the Republic ⁧‫Sudan‬⁩ in the city of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and stresses its full support for the unity of Sudan as well as the importance of continuing dialogue between all parties.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement: “The Sultanate of Oman affirmed its full support for the unity, stability and security of the Republic of Sudan and the importance of continuing dialogue between all Sudanese parties to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people in terms of hopes and aspirations for peace and stability.”

At the same time, the Sultanate of Oman appreciates the essential role and positive efforts made by many regional and international parties to reach this agreement. This has been led by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the friendly United States of America.
