Muscat: A session of talks was held between the Sultanate of Oman and Luxembourg in the field of investment opportunities in the green hydrogen sector.
A session of bilateral talks was held between the Sultanate of Oman and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in which the Omani side was chaired by His Excellency Engineer Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals. The Luxembourgian side was chaired by His Excellency Claude Turmes, Minister of Energy and Spatial Planning .
The session reviewed investment opportunities in the green hydrogen sector in the Sultanate of Oman. The discussion also included areas of cooperation to take advantage of the financial capabilities enjoyed by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg as a global financial centre, and support the Sultanate of Oman's efforts to attract foreign capital to invest in this sector.
The discussion session was attended by Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Salim Al Harthy, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Luxembourg, and the delegation accompanying His Excellency the Minister of Energy and Minerals. On the Luxembourg side, a number of officials from the Luxembourgish Ministry of Energy and Spatial Planning and the private sector attended.
