Opaz Chairman meets Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources

Muscat: The Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (Opaz) met with His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and reviewed a number of economic plans, said Oman News Agency (ONA).

A statement issued online by ONA said: “His Excellency the Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, during his meeting with His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources in Muscat, reviewed the executive position and the general plan for the integrated economic zone project in Al Dhahirah Governorate.”

“Ways to encourage Omani and Saudi companies to invest in this region were also reviewed,” the statement added.
