Royal Office Minister receives Iranian military official

Muscat: Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office received here on Tuesday Maj.Gen Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The meeting touched touched on areas of joint cooperation and means of promoting them.

The two sides also reviewed march of the historical relations binding Oman and Iran.

The meeting was attended by Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF), the Iranian Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman and members of the delegation accompanying the guest.
