Muscat: Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, has relaunched its highly popular Asalah and Al Jawhar referral scheme for the year 2023 after the great success of last year’s campaign. The current referral scheme, which will run till 30 September 2023, offers cash rewards up to thousands of rials when referring new customers to the bank to enjoy an extraordinary banking experience.
The scheme offers existing Asalah customers and new customers a chance to win up to RO 100 for every successful referral after which the referees should meet the eligibility criteria by transferring and maintaining a deposit of RO 30,000 in their saving accounts. The referrer can get a sum of RO 100 and the referee will get a 10 percent cash back if the referee has a monthly salary of RO 5,000 or more and successfully meets all eligibility criteria after opening the new Asalah salary account.
For Al Jawhar customers, the referrer and the referee will win RO 50 per successful referral once the referee successfully meets all eligibility criteria by maintaining a deposit of RO 10,000 in their Bank Muscat Al Jawhar saving account. The referrer can get a reward of RO 50 while the referee can get up to a 10 percent cashback if a new salary account is opened by a referee with a monthly salary of RO 1,000 or more.

The participation in Asalah and Al Jawhar referral schemes is based on successful referrals to the bank which requires customers to meet the eligibility criteria for both services. Customers having a monthly salary of RO 5,000 or maintaining a savings deposit of RO 30,000 are eligible for Bank Muscat Asalah Priority Banking. To take part in the Asalah Referral scheme, the referrer should fill up the form available on the bank’s website at https://bm.click/3cZp9HL and email it to Referral@bankmuscat.com.
Customers having a monthly salary of RO 1,000 or maintaining a savings deposit of RO 10,000-29,999 are eligible for Al Jawhar Privilege banking. To take part in Al Jawhar Referral scheme, the referrer should fill up the form available at https://www.bankmuscat.com/en/Documents/pdf/Jawhar_Scheme_Form.pdf and email it to Referral@bankmuscat.com. The referred customer’s account should be credited with the funds within a maximum of 30 days from the date of referral. Cash rewards will be credited directly to the respective accounts once the eligibility criteria of the referee has been successfully maintained for a period of 3-months from the date of the transferring the deposit.
Customers of both banking segments can refer friends to open new accounts in Bank Muscat provided that the referees meet the eligibility criteria at the end of the three-month review period from the date of transferring the deposit to an account with the bank.
