Dubai: Visit Oman, the national travel operator and a subsidiary of Omran Group, on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate and develop strategic initiatives with Cozmo Travel Company.
The move aims to boost the number of tourists visiting Oman and to organise marketing campaigns and initiatives which promote tourism destinations.
The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) event, which is held in Dubai.
Shabib Mohammed Al Ma’amari, General Manager of Visit Oman said that this partnership will enable Visit Oman from increasing the number of visits to Oman by providing travellers with a smooth registration progress. This includes providing several travel packages that meet the travellers’ needs.
Al Ma’amari added that this partnership will develop tourism products which cater to the needs of different segments of tourists, including those seeking to go out on adventures, explore culture and those travelling for medical tourism.
He added: “Visit Oman is committed to showing the heritage of the Sultanate of Oman, its diverse terrain, and cultural experiences to travellers from around the world, indicating that this partnership will enable Visit Oman to enter new markets and reach a wider group looking for travel experiences.
