Earthquake of 4.6 magnitude recorded near Musandam

Muscat: The Earthquake Monitoring Centre at Sultan Qaboos University has recorded a moderate earthquake in Hormozgan, southern Iran, with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale.

The Monitoring Centre announced that it had detected an earthquake at 2:20 PM, with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale, at a depth of 10 KM, and a distance of 194 KM from the Wilayat of Khasab in the Governorate of Musandam.
