The stand up comedy scene in Oman has been sparkling in recent months, and it shows no signs of slowing down. The next talented comedic star to perform in the country is Tacarra Williams.
Tacarra crushed her show last year in Oman and she's back with an all new hour that's not to be missed. If you saw her, you know her style. If you haven't seen her, get ready, because she is on top of the comedy game, making people cry laughing.
Tacarra Williams is the consummate mutli-hyphenate, school teacher, plus-sized model, motivational speaker and fearless writer. Known in the comedy industry as “The Beautiful Beast”, she keeps audiences in splits from the moment she picks up the microphone, until the time she walks off stage. She uses her wisdom learned on the streets of New York City, her experiences as a young mother, and her most recent endeavor as a Life Skills Coach to inmates in the largest jail system in America.

Bringing the show to Oman is Humor Infection, a comedy brand established in 2017 by homegrown comedian and TFM presenter Abbas Al Lawati. It is the only registered comedy brand in the country and the only one to represent Oman on an international stage - Dubai Comedy Fest, Short + Sweet theatrics and comedy, Beat The Gong and many more.
The brand also hosts open mics and workshops for aspiring local comedians to take their game to the next level. The brand provided Oman's first ever virtual comedy workshop during Covid in which students participated from over six countries.
Abbas has over 14 years of experience in stand up and currently happens to be the only full time comedian in the Sultanate. His style of comedy ranges from observational to situational with a blend of crowd work to perfectly balance story-telling along with crowd participation. Abbas is also a radio presenter on TFM hosting Cruise Control which goes live from 4pm-7pm on weekdays.
