Oman takes part in Nobel Laureate meeting in Germany

Muscat: A young researcher from Sultan Qaboos University, Rahma Khalfan Saif Al Busaidiya, became the first young Omani researcher to take part in the Lindau Nobel Laureate meeting held in Germany recently.
This participation comes after The Research Council (TRC) became an academic partner with Lindau Meetings in 2015.
The meeting saw around 400 researchers from 80 countries interacting with 29 Nobel laureate scientists in physics.
TRC assistant secretary-general for programmes and research Saif Al Haddabi participated as a council representative.
The week-long programme included lectures by Nobel laureate physicists focusing on contemporary science.
