Oman ministry invites public to sight Eid moon

Muscat: The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA) has called on everyone to monitor the sighting of the crescent of the month of Shawwal for this year on Thursday evening, 29th of Ramadan 1444 AH, which corresponds to 20th of April 2023.

It is worth noting that the blessed Eid Al Fitr holiday for the year 1444 AH for the public and private sectors will be from Thursday, April 20, until Monday, provided that official working hours will resume on Tuesday, corresponding to April 25.
