Algiers: The Sultanate took part in the 35th meeting of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, which was held in the Algerian capital on Wednesday.
The Sultanate’s delegation to the meeting is being led by Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior.
The two-day meeting discusses several issues, including a draft security and information plan for awareness and prevention of crime and the report of the Council’s Secretary-General on the work of the Secretariat between the 34th and 35th sessions, as well as the draft of a ninth Arab security plan and a seventh Arab information plan for security awareness and crime prevention.
