Shura Council election committee holds meeting

The main committee for the 10th term Shura Council elections on Monday held its first meeting under the chairmanship of Eng. Khalid Hilal Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior. The meeting discussed several topics on the agenda. It also highlighted the tasks of the committee during the election term.

Royal Office Minister received ambassadors of UAE, Iran

Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, received here on Monday Mohammed Nakhira Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Sultanate of Oman. Al Nu’amani wished the ambassador success in carrying out his duties as his country’s ambassador to Oman. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and areas of joint cooperation. They also touched on several matters of mutual interest.
