Muscat: World Telugu Information Technology Council (WTITC) has appointed His Highness Al Sayyid Firas Fatik Al Said as a patron of the council for Oman. This appointment was made during a visit by a WTITC delegation led by Sundeep Kumar Makthala to Oman on Tuesday.
During the visit, the delegation met with HH Firas to discuss collaborations between Oman and the Telugu States. The discussion covered investment opportunities, business policies in Oman, and technology exchange initiatives in the IT and ITeS sectors.
Sundeep Kumar Makthala, the leader of the delegation, handed over the appointment letter to HH Firas, formally appointing him as a patron of WTITC Oman. The delegation also visited Telugu people facing difficulties in Muscat and Sohar labour camps, providing them with hope and support.
Sundeep Kumar Makthala, Chairman of WTITC, said, "We are delighted to meet HH Al Sayyid Firas Fatik Al Said and discussed the immense potential for cooperation between Oman and the Telugu States. Our discussions focused on investment opportunities and technology exchange initiatives in the IT and ITeS sectors, which can create a win-win situation for both sides."
HH Al Sayyid Firas Fatik Al Said said, "I am honoured to be appointed as a patron member of WTITC. This reflects the importance we attach to the collaboration between Oman and the Telugu States. The delegation included Ritzy Group CEO MNR Gupta, SSR Cloud CEO Shasidhar Sharma, and WTITC - President Karem Shaik, WTITC Members Hemanth Sarvabotla, and Abishek Reddy Arrabolu.
This appointment of His Highness Al Sayyid Firas Fatik as a patron member of WTITC is expected to strengthen ties between Oman and the Telugu States and facilitate more collaboration in the IT and ITeS sectors.
