Oman's Foreign Ministry expresses concern over the situation in Sudan

Muscat : The Ministry of Foreign of the Sultanate of Oman has expressed deep concern regarding the current political situation in the Republic of Sudan.

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Foreign quoted, "The Ministry of Foreign expressed that it is following with great concern the developments of the situation in the brotherly Republic of Sudan, following the ongoing clashes there."

The ministry also urged all Sudanese parties to exercise utmost restraint and to prevail in the language of dialogue between them in order to reach the desired political agreement. This is in order to protect the lives and capabilities of the Sudanese people and to achieve their aspirations for security and stability, the ministry added.
