Thundershowers in these parts of Oman today

Muscat: Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas may witness thundershower associated with downdraft wind on Saturday.

Oman Meteorology department has said in its weather forecast for Saturday that the weather will be clear skies over most of the governorates with chances of cloud development and isolated thundershower associated with downdraft wind over Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas . There is a chance of low level clouds or fog patches at late night or early morning over parts of South Al Sharqiyah , Dhofar and Al Wusta Governorates .

The Meteorology department added that dust rising is likely over desert and open areas due to strong winds over Al Buraimi , Dhahira and Al Wusta Governorates
