Two arrested for racing on the road in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police has arrested two drivers for racing cars on the road endangering the lives of themselves and others. The incident came to light after a video of their misconduct circulated in the media.

A statement issued online by ROP said: “After circulating a video clip on social media of two drivers running a dangerous race on a road, endangering their lives and the lives of others, the Traffic General Directorate arrested the perpetrators of the act and legal procedures are being completed.”

The Royal Oman Police calls upon everyone to adhere to traffic rules and regulations, and to make our roads safer for its users.
