Al Shabiba emerge champions of OJA Ramadan football tournament

A dominating performance by Al Shabiba newspaper team saw them trounce Oman Daily newspaper side 3-0 to lift the title at the Oman Journalists’ Association (OJA) Ramadan Football Championship, which concluded at the Al Hilal grounds in Azaiba on Tuesday.The final match was held under the auspices of Mohammed bin Saeed Al Balushi, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Information, who later gave away the awards. Oman News Agency (ONA) team completed the podium with a third place after defeating Oman Radio 6/2 in the third place playoff match. Later, the chief guest also awarded the best player in the tournament, best goalkeeper and top scorer, and honoured the match referees.
